Darkies in Tech (DIT) has announced its first ever startup pitching competition, The Titan’s Turf. The competition will see
NjiaPay, a payment service provider, has secured investment from Renew Capital to expand its platform, enhance its intelligent routing capabilities, and grow its presence across Africa.
NjiaPay provides merchants with single integration that includes intelligent routing, built-in redundancy and centralised reconciliation and data management. Its intelligent routing system leverages real-time payment service provider (PSP) performance data and artificial intelligence (AI) to select the highest-performing and most affordable payment provider and method for each transaction, driving higher conversion rates and minimising disruptions.

Renew Capital, a pan-African early-stage investment firm, focuses on supporting startups led by growth-oriented founders.
Melbourne Nyamadzawo, investment analyst at Renew Capital highlighted NjiaPay’s impact on businesses without dedicated payment teams.
