Google has opened applications for the the 2025 Google Hustle Academy, a free skills development programme focused on artificial intelligence (AI)-powered business training.
The Hustle Academy is a five-day virtual bootcamp designed to equip small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with practical knowledge and tools to grow their business.
The programme is open to SMEs that have been operational for at least one year in Kenya, Nigeria, or South Africa and are looking to scale. Participants will gain access to expert mentorship, practical case studies, and a valuable network of fellow entrepreneurs.
This year's Hustle Academy will also feature a speaker series including:

Since its inception in 2022, Google says the Hustle Academy has trained over 15 000 SMEs across the region.
This year’s edition aims to deepen participants’ understanding of integrating AI into their operations, leveraging AI tools for marketing and customer engagement, and using AI-driven insights to fuel business growth.
"The free, virtual bootcamp will also cover core business fundamentals, including business strategy, financial management, digital marketing, and leadership development — providing a comprehensive foundation for growth," says Google.
